Incredible vintage 1950s black tea-length party dress by designer Fred Perlberg. Features a scalloped eyelet bodice with a nude lining layer underneath, a full tiered skirt, a velvet waistband, and velvet ribbon trim laced through the eyelets along the top of the bodice. There are also matching velvet spaghetti straps that may have been added by a previous owner (see close up photo of the hand-stitching inside; they could be easily removed if desired). There is a metal side zipper for closure

Fabric: Feels like nylon shell and lining with embroidery, velvet trim, and a mesh layer in the skirt for shape

Condition: Very good, with a few scattered seam gaps below the ruffles (nothing noticeable, and doesn’t affect the wearability), and some faint discoloration to the lining inside the bodice.

To best ensure that you are happy with your item, we ask that you read through the measurements and condition notes before making your purchase. However, if it doesn't work out, we do accept returns for store credit if we are contacted and the item is sent back in its original condition within 14 days of delivery. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, and the store credit amount issued is for the item price only minus a $7 restocking fee. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
