Vintage handmade ivory floral print Victorian style bodice with large puff sleeves, a fitted waist, red velvet panels, and white lace and red crochet trim. There is boning in the bodice for shape, and there are hook & eyes up the cuffs and back for closure.

The blouse was made by a costuming house in Montréal, Canada called L'Atelier de Costumes BJL, which was founded by Louise Jobin in 1972 and closed in 1994. Jobin has been an art director for various films and series such as Ces enfants d'ailleurs II (1999) and L'Ombre de l'épervier I (1998), and won the Genie Award for best costumes for Jésus de Montréal (1990), Joshua Then and Now (1986), Cordélia (1980), and a Gemini (1987) for Ford, the Man and the Machine.

Inside is written "d. bedard" - perhaps for the actor who wore it.
