Vintage 1950s formal gown in white by Emma Domb with a satin bodice and mesh overlay on the skirt. There is a side zipper for closure and a lightweight structured hoop in the inner skirt hem for shape. There are some condition issues mainly on the lower part of the skirt, so it could be hemmed up into a midi-length dress to avoid them. Sold as is, see condition notes below.

Fabric: Unknown satin, with a double layer of mesh overlay on skirt. It has boning in the bust.

Condition: Good, with a pinpoint orange spot on the back of waist (barely noticeable), some very thin runs along the edge of zipper where the seam was adjusted (looks like the seam could be let out another 1/2"), some frayed threads at the hem of satin layer (see photo - doesn't affect wearability and could be easily snipped off), a 4" hole at the front of skirt on the outer mesh layer (12" above hem), some other small holes throughout the lower skirt on both mesh layers, three 1.5" orange spots on the lower back right of skirt (14" above hem), and two 1.5" faint yellow spots at the bottom back right hem.
