Amazing 1960s-70s Mexican poncho in white pin-tucked cotton with sheer crochet panels. Fits over the head and closes with a hook & eye at the neck. There is no brand tag, but it matches an original design by Tachi Castillo, a fashion designer born in Mexico City in 1918. She became well known for creating the popular "Mexican Wedding Dress" with pin-tucked cotton and crochet paneling.
