Vintage 80s baby pink t shirt from the 1988 The Tompkins Square Park riot. Some condition notes, please see description below.
The riot "occurred on August 6–7, 1988 in Tompkins Square Park, located in the East Village and Alphabet City neighborhoods of Manhattan, New York City. Groups of "drug pushers, homeless people and young people known as squatters and punks," had largely taken over the park." The shirt has the Helen Keller quote, "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing."

Condition: Good, with pilling throughout, three 1/4" yellow spots on the lower part of graphic, two 1/8" and four pinpoint orange spots on the right side, a 1/8" orange spot on the lower back, very faint yellowing around the edge of collar, and some very minor discoloration/fading throughout.

To best ensure that you are happy with your item, we ask that you read through the measurements and condition notes before making your purchase. However, if it doesn't work out, we do accept returns for store credit if we are contacted and the item is sent back in its original condition within 14 days of delivery. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, and the store credit amount issued is for the item price only minus a $7 restocking fee. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
