Vintage 1940s black rayon crepe knee length dress with mesh back and sleeves, and fabric covered buttons up the front, by Auerbach’s department store in Salt Lake City. Has shoulder pads that could be removed with a seam ripper if desired. There are a few minor condition notes detailed below, but it is still wearable as is.

Condition: Very good, with a 1.5” section of very faint brown discoloration on the lace trim on the front right sleeve, one tiny snag in the fabric on the upper front right of the skirt, a ¼” seam gap/tear where the mesh trim meets the black panel on the upper back left, a few other tiny holes/tiny worn spots throughout the sheer mesh (mainly on the back), and a couple pinpoint brown spots on the lace trim on the back.
Waist: 26.5” - cinches in back with tie
